I am excited to announce that I have signed up for the Winter 2010 Geneablogger Games!
For these games, I have created the following flag, representing my American, Hungarian and Irish roots:

My flag, representing my American, Hungarian, and Irish roots.
I will be competing in the following categories:
2. Back up your data: I will be posting about the data backup system that I am in the process of setting up. In short, I don’t expect to lose any data ever!
3. Organize your research: Here is an area that I am focusing on for improvement. I have lots of data, but even though I have an organizational system in place, I will be improving it, in conjunction with the steps I am taking to back up my data in category 2.
4. Expand your Knowledge – It is amazing how I just jumped right into genealogy without studying the techniques. I’ve posted about how I started genealogy. It took me some time before I developed a good approach to it, which I will be posting about for these games.
5. Write, write, write – I’ll be making some additions to this site, and I hope you find them interesting. I’ll be posting about these additions in the coming days.
6. Reach out and perform genealogical acts of kindness.
I may be overcommitting myself here with all these categories, but we’ll see what happens. I think I can at least make a respectable showing in most of these categories. Stay tuned for updates!

Welcome to the GeneaBloggers! I look forward to being in the Games with you:-)
Thanks Amanda! Nice to meet you. Best of luck in the Games!
